Therapy

Therapy consists of a series of regular appointments to target specific speech and/or language goals which were identified during the assessment process. These goals are usually accomplished over time. A therapy period, or "block" may last for a number of weeks or up to three months.  A child may receive a number of blocks of therapy over the course of several years. This therapy may be individual or small group in nature. Family members participate in the therapy sessions and do home practice activities between the sessions.
